Our

We believe spaces can shape culture, and culture can shape the world. EPIC brings people together around creativity, enterprise, ideas, community and experiences that add something meaningful to life. We believe opportunity should not belong only to those who already have access. We want to be a launchpad for emerging artists, creators, entrepreneurs and voices with something worth sharing. We believe commerce can have a conscience. We seek fairer ways of working, thoughtful partnerships and businesses that contribute something meaningful to the world around them. We believe what we receive should flow beyond us. A portion of what EPIC generates will create opportunity, strengthen communities and help people beyond our walls. We believe there is more to life than what can be bought, built or measured. We make room for creativity, connection, reflection, faith and wonder, and for experiences that awaken something deeper within us. Because culture is shaped not only by what we say, but by what we create, what we celebrate and how we treat one another.

From the Warehouse Project, which began as a dream in 2010, a living blueprint for community uplift took shape, first in and around the Tripoli Market area in Maradana, Sri Lanka, and still going strong today.

Change followed quickly, visible, measurable, and faster than anyone expected, reaching more than 1,400 households at the time. Thirteen years later, the work continues under a new name: the Tripoli Market Initiative.

At the center of these efforts stood WOWLife Church: A community dedicated to individual optimization and human flourishing. Created alongside the Warehouse Project, it took a different approach from many traditional religious institutions, functioning as a support system that strengthens autonomy rather than overriding it.

It followed a neuroscience- and positive psychology-informed approach: guidance without control, support without dependency, and optimization that protects the human capacities that make
autonomy possible.

Proving one thing: with the right conceptual toolkit, communities and institutions flourish when the demands placed on them match their real capacity. This approach delivered the results it aimed for. A multicultural community flourished. People from different walks of life, across caste and creed, met in spaces designed for the right balance of challenge and support, and they grew into fuller versions of themselves while contributing to the nation's wellbeing and globall image. A true melting pot of talent, opportunity, and resources emerged. People shared what they had, and lives changed.

  • From providing extensive relief during the 2004 tsunami to responding swiftly during the Easter attacks, the economic crisis, and the 2025 floods, this approach has proven itself under pressure—showing a consistent ability to mobilise quickly and effectively.

  • Protecting marginalised communities and building the support structures they need has become a core strength of Kirby and Fiona, one they have embedded into the wider community they have trained and led. From advocating for the rights of independent  Free Churches in Sri Lanka and helping secure formal recognition, to empowering children and women in low-income settings, these ongoing initiatives provide practical tools that help individuals and communities withstand adversity and thrive.

  • Over the last two decades, a curated circle of top-tier professionals : people who have already excelled in their arenas; have consistently poured back into the EPIC community. From business and manufacturing to fashion, music, the arts, and film/TV, they have shared knowledge, opened doors, and invested practical support. The result has been rare access to meaningful networks, hands-on skill transfer, mentorship, and resource-sharing that accelerates growth for individuals and projects.

  • Using neuroscience-informed, positive psychology–supported protocols, this model approaches spiritual growth in a distinctive way while protecting religious freedom and theological integrity. It draws on historically rooted theological practices and strengthens them with modern science and lived experience. In practice since 2010, this approach has consistently helped individuals flourish—personally, socially, and spiritually.

  • A strong social support network has operated alongside mental health–informed protocols. Qualified staff have monitored individual wellbeing, with easy access to counselling, ongoing check-ins, and two-way communication that keeps support responsive and personal. Newcomers receive structured onboarding and clear best practices from day one, while mental guardrails get taught, refreshed, and reviewed regularly to support long-term wellbeing.
